Camp FAQs
All Summer Soccer Academy Sessions run a full week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Players should bring:
- > a ball,
- > a water cooler (we have large coolers for refilling),
- > lunch in a cooler,
- > sneakers,
- > cleats and shin guards. (PLEASE don't wear
brand-new cleats for the first day of camp; IF
you do get new cleats, break them in ALOT prior
to the camp to avoid blisters.
The week is very demanding and playing as long and as hard as they do for 5-6 hours a day in new shoes might lead to painful foot/heel blistering.
We also recommend you apply sunscreen a full hour before camp starts and have your child bring the sunscreen with them to reapply as necessary.

Yes - all our coaches carry USSF and/or NSCAA certifications relevant to the ages of the players they will be working with. All of our coaching staff must submit Kid Safe disclosure forms, as required by state soccer organizations (e.g., EPYSA, NJYSA)
An emergency contact will be provided to you before the camp week in case you need to contact us or your child in an emergency. Similarly, we will have your contact details (collected in your registration packet) in the unlikely event that we need to contact you during the week.

We take your child's health very seriously. All of our camps have a certified athletic trainer on site. The trainer will deal with all injuries, and can also help with ongoing minor issues (blisters, soreness) during the week. Please keep us informed of any issues that your child may be experiencing. Adeptico carries insurance for all camps.

On the first morning of camp you will need to bring your child to the sign-in tent. Each day thereafter, your child can be dropped off at the meeting point. However, if you are more comfortable, you can escort your child to his/her coach directly.
For your child's safety, we follow a specific pick-up procedure. In your registration packet you will be asked to provide the names of people who are authorized to pick your child up. Your child's coach will have this list and your child will be kept with their coach until an authorized person identifies herself/himself. If you decide during the week to change who is picking up, you MUST let the staff know this so that we can adjust the list accordingly.

Our camp days are physically and mentally demanding. Your child will have done many hours of activity in warm/hot weather. We ask that they get plenty of rest and water after camp. Evening training is not advised for younger players (under 13) during the camp week. If your child is asked to attend by their coach, we recommend you ask them to be allowed to train lightly.back to toP ^

Camp meets as scheduled in wet weather. Please provide your child with a change of clothes on such days. We follow a strict policy of taking cover if thunder is heard, at which time we play/watch soccer film/do activities indoors or under a pavilion. In the unlikely event of extreme weather causing camp days to be canceled we will offer make up days at a later time.
Yes! We will provide you with tax ID information during the camp week to help you to deduct the cost of the week.
